Stone Veneer in Bentley
Bentley is offering a new luxury veneer for their luxury cars. Nowadays we are used to almost anything when it comes to cabin materials but Bentley sets new standards with adding beautiful stone veneers to their option packages.
The stone they use has been formed over 200 million years ago in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh, India and what they do is using hand picked sections of stone which they split from larger pieces and cure using glass fibre and a bespoke resin and then it is shaped and hand finished by Bentley’s world-renowned Mulliner coach building team in Crewe, England.
Now maybe you think stone? That is heavy! But no, the veneer is just 0.1 mm thick and that means it is translucent and extremely light. By doing it this way the grain and pattern in the stone are shown in a very elegant way to the interior occupants.
The beautiful luxury looking veneer is offered by Mulliner in a natural finish and you have a choice of four colors available on Continental and Flying Spur models: Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper. If you would like to have this in your Bentley you have to get in touch with Mulliner’s bespoke team and they will discuss with you your requirements.
