Last weekend there was the BAFTA, that prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts festival where movies and actors can win prizes. All celebrities and movie stars (the nominated ones at least) were present and Chopard took the chance to see of any of them were wearing their jewelry. These are the ones they found:
American actress Julianne Moore, presenter for the Leading Actress BAFTA, was wearing a pair of 18 carats white gold earrings set with cabochon fancy cut emeralds (41cts) and brilliants (1ct) and a butterfly 18ct white gold ring set with a marquise-cut diamond (2cts), pear-shaped diamonds (5cts) and brilliants (1ct), both from the Red Carpet Collection.
Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, who was nominated for the Leading Actor BAFTA (Brooklyn) selected a stunning 18ct white gold necklace set with fancy coloured sapphires (275cts), fancy coloured briolette-cut sapphires (82cts), round-shaped rose-cut diamonds (11cts) and pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds (5cts) as well as an 18ct white and yellow gold ring set with a yellow pear-shaped diamond (4cts) and brilliants (1ct), both from the High Jewellery Collection.
British actress Annabelle Wallis chose to wear a pair of 18ct white gold earrings set with pear-shaped rubies (47cts), pear-shaped diamonds (7cts) and brilliants (2cts) from the Red Carpet Collection, an 18ct white gold ring set with round-shaped brilliant-cut diamonds (2cts) and a round-shaped brilliant cut ruby, an 18ct white gold ring set with round-shaped brilliant-cut diamonds (2cts), both from the L’Heure du Diamant Collection, and a ring in 18ct white Fairmined gold set with marquise-cut diamonds (2.71cts) from the Green Carpet Collection.
