The Mercedes C-Class Convertible is not a new car with surprises, many things are the same as in its good looking coupe-brother, except for the height of course. In the interior we see a lot of the well-known C-Class features.
Mercedes says that this is an all-season Cabriolet and that is because they invented the Airscarf. This causes the airflow to go higher so your head (and your hair) will be out of the wind. And there is also the Aircap keeping wind turbulence out of the interior. All-in-all these are nice features making topless driving much more comfortable which, of course, is what you may expect in a luxury car.
Mercedes used an all-season fabric soft top which can be opened in 20 seconds when driving up to a speed of 50 km/h.
There are several engines available for this convertible. You can choose out of several engines ranging from 156 to 367 HP and there is also a AMG version (C43) with a 3-liter V6 bi-turbo engine with all-wheel drive.
Diesel engines are also available in the C220d with 170 HP or the C250d with 204 HP.
All engines will be used with a 9G-Tronic 9-speed transmission.
